Oven-Baked Cod with Garlic Butter Recipe

1. Alaskan Cod
2. Butter
3. Garlic
4. Salt
5. Black pepper

1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Prepare the Cod:
Pat the Alaskan cod dry with a paper towel and season both sides with salt and black pepper to taste.
3. Make the Garlic Butter:
Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté until it’s fragrant – aim for a light golden color. Be careful not to burn it!
4. Bake the Cod:
Place the cod in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over it. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
5. Serve:
Once done, remove from the oven and serve immediately.

This oven-baked cod with garlic butter is perfect served with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad.
Enjoy your meal!
